Get out of your car. Cars are the largest source of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants. Each day, Canada's 14 million cars lead to greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change. Take public transit, carpool, ride a bike, or walk to your destination to help reduce local air pollution.

Make a choice. Seventeen percent of families in London live below the Low Income Cut-Off and one in five children lives in poverty. An $85 donation to United Way will provide an individual living in poverty with weekly meals for a year.

Support organizations who help newcomers get started. Support the work of organizations and programs like The London and Middlesex Local Immigration Partnership, Mentorship Program for London Ethnic Youth At Risk London Intercommunity Health Centre and WIL Mentorship for Newcomer Success.
